# CellHood Gel & Blot Analyser

CellHood Gel & Blot Analyser is a free browser-based scientific tool for Western blot, protein gel, DNA gel and RNA gel images. Users can draw straight or angled lanes, detect and quantify dark or light bands, inspect band boundaries and densitometry profiles, calibrate band sizes with manufacturer ladder libraries, label bands, and export annotated PNG images or CSV data.

## Privacy and analysis

Image pixels and lane settings are sent to CellHood for server-side analysis. Uploads are processed in memory and are not saved on the server. Display inversion, black point, white point and gamma adjustments do not change the original pixels used for densitometry.
